Abstract：

Natural gas distributed energy is superior to traditional energy resources for power generation in terms of energy mix optimization and energy safety and therefore wins worldwide focus. The utilization of natural gas distributed energy began early in developed countries while late in China, so the development of natural gas distributed energy is such a necessity. By analyzing advantages of natural gas distributed energy,the paper recommends the demands, feasibility and main constraints of its development and introduces the application in typical regions such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou; in addition, the application prospect of natural gas distributed energy is expounded.
