Abstract:

With the development of micro-turbine generation technology and power-to-gas technology, the coupling between electric power system and natural gas system continues to deepen. In order to study the interactions between electric power system and natural gas system in the process of dynamic operation, modeling and simulation of an electric power-natural gas interconnected terminal energy system is studied in this paper. First of all, mathematical models of the micro-grid, the natural gas supply network, and the coupling units including micro-turbine generation system and power-to-gas system in the terminal energy system are respectively built. After that, simulation model of the system is set up on MATLAB/Simulink platform, and influence of dynamic process of micro-grid on natural gas supply network is mainly researched. The simulation results show that the established model can reflect dynamic gas change in the natural gas pipeline when the micro-turbine generation system and the power-to-gas system participate in the dynamic process regulation of the micro-grid.
