Mechanism and Model Realization of Pulverized Coal Combustion Simulation and Calculation with FLUENT

Abstract:
In-depth knowledge of the mechanism and model realization approach of pulverized coal combustion simulation and calculation with FLUENT is required for modification of calculation model of pulverized coal combustion.This paper elaborates the implication and switching conditions for every step of combustion of a single particle,performs the study on the method of calculating the number of particles for tracking with User Defined Function(UDF),switching between processes,relationship between process and rules,maximum transfer number of user-defined rules in particle life cycle and the transfer mechanism of process rules.The study is illustrated clearly with the schematic diagram.The indepth knowledge can be obtained as to mechanism and model realization approach of pulverized coal combustion simulation and calculation with FLUENT based on the research result so that it can provide basis for rebuilding the pulverized coal combustion model.
