Review on Status and Application Prospect of Domestic CSP Generation

Abstract:
CSP(concentrated solar power) generation technology wins worldwide focus with its advantages such as continuous and stable power generation and complementary power generation with other renewables.CSP generation technology was initiated more than twenty years ago in the world while studied and utilized lately in China. It is of great significance to develop CSP generation technology in China. The CSP generation technology both at home and abroad in recent years is introduced and the largest commercially operated molten salt tower CSP generation project in China is emphatically expounded. Besides, the constraints of CSP generation is studied and the application prospect is discussed.
